The 9th Norwegian Operators Conference (NOC) drew more than 350 participants during its two days in Stavanger in November.
 

This was a new record. A total of 16 oil companies presenting was another record for the conference, which was started in 2003. Feedback from the audience was excellent and several media, including live coverage from TV2 News Channel, contributed to spreading

the main impression from the conference, namely that Norwegian suppliers industry will have many reasons to smile in the next 3-4 years. The real challenges lie in getting enough qualified people to work in the oil industry, and avoiding a new cost spiral emerging.
 

In 2012 NOC celebrates its 10th Anniversary and the conference will be held in Stavanger Forum November 21-22.
